Chocolate-covered apples
A twist on classic candy apples, with a chocolate coating for a wide range of tastes.
Ingredients (6 apples)
- • 500 g compound chocolate coating
- • 6 small apples
- • Sprinkles as desired
- • 6 Bompack 18 cm bamboo skewers or Bompack ice-pop sticks
- • 1 Bompack baking paper
Method
1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly;
2. Chop the chocolate and melt gradually in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds;
3. Insert the bamboo skewers or ice-pop sticks into the apples;
4. Dip the apples into the melted chocolate and let excess drip off;
5. If desired, coat with sprinkles or other decorations;
6. Place the apples on baking paper on a tray and refrigerate until set.

Hot dogs
A June festival classic with varied toppings to suit more customers and increase average purchase value.
Ingredients (6 hot dogs)
- • 500 g hot dog sausages (about 10 units)
- • 6 hot dog buns
- • Shoestring potato sticks, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise as desired
- • Salt to taste
Method
1. Place the sausages in enough boiling water to cover them. Heat for 3 minutes and set aside.
2. Topping options vary by Brazilian region. Here are some ideas:
Brazilian vinaigrette salsa: mix chopped onion and tomato with olive oil, vinegar and chopped parsley. Adjust the salt.
Mashed potato: cook 4 medium potatoes until tender, then mash. Cook with butter, half an onion, 1 garlic clove and 1 glass of milk.
Calabresa sausage and bacon: fry 150 g diced bacon until golden and set aside. In the same pan, fry 1 chopped calabresa sausage until golden. Combine and use as a topping.
3. Split the buns, add one or two sausages and finish with your chosen toppings. Serve immediately.

Gourmet popcorn
Ingredients (10 servings)
- • 1 cup popping corn
- • ½ cup oil
- • 1 cup water
- • 1 cup sugar
- • 1 cup Ninho powdered milk
Method
1. Put the oil, water, sugar and corn in a large pan and stir well.
2. Stir over high heat until the corn begins to pop, about 15 minutes. Take care to avoid burns from popping corn.
3. Lower the heat, cover and shake the pan occasionally until popping slows.
4. Turn off the heat when more than 5 seconds pass between pops.
5. The finished popcorn will be caramelized and slightly stuck together.
6. Put the powdered milk in a bowl and thoroughly mix in the popcorn.

Corn cakes with guava topping
Ingredients (18 servings)
- • 3 eggs
- • 160 g sweet corn
- • 160 g sunflower oil
- • 180 g demerara sugar
- • 500 g coconut milk
- • 250 g flaked corn
- • 80 g fresh coconut
- • 17 g baking powder
- • Creamy guava paste
- • Bompack 8 × 5 cm baking cups
Method
1. Place the paper baking cups in a cupcake tray and set aside.
2. Preheat the oven to 135°C.
3. Blend the eggs, corn, oil, sugar, corn flakes and grated coconut until smooth.
4. Transfer to a bowl, add the baking powder and gently fold with a whisk.
5. Divide among the greased cups and bake for about 15 minutes.
6. Remove, let cool slightly, unmold and cool on a rack.
7. Once completely cool, top each cake with 2 tablespoons of creamy guava paste.

Peanut sweets with sweetener
Ingredients (8 servings)
- • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- • 1 spoonful unsweetened cocoa powder
- • 4 tablespoons cooking sweetener
- • 200 g unsweetened plain yogurt
- • 200 g peanuts
- • 1 Bompack baking paper or Cook Paper
Method
1. Stir the cooking sweetener, coconut oil and cocoa powder together in a pan.
2. Once dissolved, add the plain yogurt and continue stirring.
3. When the mixture thickens to a soft fudge-like consistency, add the peanuts.
4. Line a tray with baking paper or Cook Paper to prevent sticking, divide into portions and let cool.
